After the Apocalypse?
First, thanks Porter for the Podcast! I love it and made my landing page here. Now that I am on summer vacation I am going to get busy finish writing for my chronicle, "Echoes of the End" . It is the most ambitious chronicle I have ever run. I am exploring the end, the actual end. What will it look like? I have some theories and this game lets me explore what they might look like. This weeks podcast was super cool. I loved the idea of the question "Should we be fighting the weaver instead?" This came up several times back in the early days of live action role playing. My life took me away from playing RPGs for a long time. I really felt this game needed some advanced players to really take this up. So as that didn't materialize, I decided to write this game to create experienced Garou players. Lo and behold, its working out so far. Due to the size of this story, I needed to be a little creative in how I told it. So, to facilitate telling the story, I use Facebook as a medium, often posting what is going on in the world both garou and mundane in the form of News Flashes for the world events and "The Howl" events that all the garou in the region are hearing about at moots. This saves me time in a session going over it. It also creates a record of these things that players can refer to. I sometimes allow for mini RP sessions via this method. discussion with and elder or seeking to buy a new gift. It allows for maximum "table time". Here is where i mention my game meets twice a month via Roll20. How do you handle some of the challenges you face?
